Chasing Light

His name is Angel. And I have a crush on his life.

Born and raised in Nepal, he has one of the most amazing stories I have ever heard. He has known much tragedy, heartache, loss, joy, and adventure. And through a series of events, he developed an incredible heart for the hurting children of Nepal. He runs a children’s home out of Kathmandu, which, over the last 16 years, has seen 168 orphaned kids rescued and given the opportunity for a better life.

We randomly met Angel at church a few weeks ago, when he invited us to come spend some time at his home with the 20+ kids that live with him now. As I sat in his home, watching the way these children adore him, I couldn’t help but imagine my future and the dreams I have of opening a safe home for girls rescued from sex…
